Qualifying active and retired military, plus one guest, will enjoy a free night’s stay on the night of Thursday, November 10, 2011 plus breakfast. To qualify, in addition to military service, guests must register for a drawing and attend an upcoming performance of M*A*S*H, presented by the Paradise Community Theatre at 321 Central Avenue in Faribault. Tami stars as the domineering chief nurse, “Hot Lips” Houlihan in the M*A*S*H production. Said Schluter, “Our director, Palmer Huff and several others in the cast, are veterans. He asked us to think about ways to honor our veterans as part of this performance.  The idea for the promotion came from the national B&Bs for Vets program that we participated in last year. That program was first developed by Kathleen Panek, owner of Gillum House B&B – West Virginia B&B Association, and has grown from a few B&Bs offering FREE rooms on Veteran’s Day in November 2008 to over 600 in 2011”.
